Sharing is a core “what” to who we are as an organization (mvifi.org/shares). We want others to experience what we are doing, thinking and being challenged by. We are excited to announce that we will be bringing two podcasts to our normal share-outs.
For the past few years Dr. Brett Jacobsen (@jbrettjacobsen) has been hosting Design Movement – a learning and leadership conversation in education, business and the nonprofit community. His show has featured interviews with inspiring leaders such as innovative architect Trung Le of Wonder By Design, Scott Doorley and Scott Witthoft Co-Directors of the Environments Collaborative at the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford University, and educational thought leader in project based learning Suzie Boss. In its fourth season, Brett kicks things off with an interview with Jeff Hilimire (@jeffhilimire) of Dragon Army.
This Is Iterative
Jennifer Chan, Founder of Exhibit-Change (@jennzia), and Trey Boden, Creative Director at MVIFI and Mount Vernon Presbyterian School (@treyboden), met each other through Twitter. They are two aspiring leaders looking to explore the intersection of design and vulnerability. In the show’s first season, Jenn and Trey explored their experience with design thinking using Stanford d.school’s model as a framework. The first few episodes of season two look at the future iterations of This Is Iterative including a review of feedback from season one.
We will be posting these podcasts here on our website or you can subscribe in iTunes and on Stitcher Radio.
